Bike Check!

Riding your bike to work is good for you, good for the city, and good for your wallet. Bike Check! puts a little money back in your pocket for choosing to pedal instead of drive. Log your bike rides, and you can earn up to two $25 reimbursements a year toward gear, a new bike, or maintenance. You are allowed one claim per month, but you can submit anytime before the end of the calendar year. 

Who is eligible?

Any employee or tenant of a participating A Better City TMA member company member company who:

  • Has an account on GoMassCommute (it's free!)

  • Has earned earned enough cycling points to redeem a reimbursement claim

What can I get reimbursed for?

Bikes, locks, safety lights, helmets, and general maintenance are all fair game. Whether you're outfitting a brand-new commute or keeping an old favorite running smoothly, we want to help cover the cost.

How does the program work?

Start by signing into your GoMassCommute account and logging your trips. It doesn't matter if you're riding one mile a day or twenty. Once you've earned enough points to unlock a Bike Check reward, fill out the short form on GoMassCommute and attach a photo of your receipt. Reimbursements apply to purchases made within the same calendar year.
