Sharing the Ride is On Us . . .
If you commute with two or more in the car, we provide you with Free Gasoline. The ABC TMA is offering free gas to qualified individuals who share their ride to work. Grab your spouse, your neighbor, a co-worker, and commute together to save over $200 a year on the cost of fuel. Don’t know of anyone to give a lift to? We can match you with someone who lives and works near you.
Sharing the Ride is Flexible . . .
We understand that schedules changes daily. Monday you have soccer practice, Thursday’s night school, and Friday you are headed straight to the slopes or the beach for the weekend. Fortunately, you don’t need to commit to travel together everyday.
To participate in the Fill ’er Up program, you simply need to share the ride two times per week, to a worksite or parking facility in Boston, Charlestown, or Cambridge. You decide what works best for you.
We also guarantee that you will never be stuck without a ride. Fill ‘Er Up members are eligible for our Guaranteed Ride Home program that provides you a free ride home in the event of an emergency or if you are required to work late unexpectedly.
How does it Work?
Participants in the Fill ’er Up program will receive a prepaid gas card each month. You can select from Shell, Citgo, and Texaco. The amount of the incentive is $35.00 per month for a total of six months per carpool. Upon receipt of your monthly report a new gas card will be mailed out. There is a limit of one fueling card per month per carpool.
Who is Eligible?
Any employee or tenant of an ABC TMA member company may be eligible to participate. You must be currently driving alone two days a week or more, for at least the past three months. Proof of driving alone (parking pass, receipt, etc) will be required prior to final registration.
Existing carpools adding a new rider may be eligible if the new rider was previously driving alone two days a week or more, for at least the past three months. Proof of driving alone (parking pass, receipt, etc) will be required prior to final registration.
Simply fill out the registration form with information on you and your passenger(s) and you can begin filling up the tank on us.
If you need help finding someone to share the ride with, we can help. You may utilize RideShark a state of the art online ridematching system to find someone with a similar commute. The information is completely private and you choose whether or not to contact potential riders.

How Do I Register . . .
The Fill 'er Up program is free of charge, simply fill out our online registration form for your carpool and we will send you all the needed materials and your gas card to get you on your way.
